Comparison review

Xperia Z2 Tablet is just a bit better than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), getting a 69.8 score against 65. Both tablets we compare here come with Android OS, but the Xperia Z2 Tablet has a more recent 4.4.4 version and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has Android 4.1 version. The Xperia Z2 Tablet construction is newer, a lot lighter and incredibly thinner than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T).

The Xperia Z2 Tablet features a more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have a same size display, the Xperia Z2 Tablet also has a much better count of pixels per screen inch and a much higher 1200 x 1920 resolution. The Xperia Z2 Tablet features a quite better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because it has 2 GB more RAM memory, a much better 450 MHz graphics co-processor and a greater number of cores.

The Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet takes much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet also has a way higher resolution back-facing camera. Xperia Z2 Tablet counts with a slightly better storage for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have exactly the same 16 GB internal storage, the Xperia Z2 Tablet also has an external memory card slot that supports up to 64 GB.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) counts with better battery duration than Xperia Z2 Tablet, because it has a 17% larger battery capacity.

Despite of being the best tablet of the ones in this comparison, Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet is also the cheapest.
