Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is a little bit better than Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet, with a 74.5 score against 69.8. The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 body is much newer, but heavier and somewhat thicker than Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet. Both of these tablets use Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet has Android 4.4.4, giving you lots of additional features and a performance increase.

The Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet counts with a bit better performance than Galaxy Tab A 10.5, because although it has 4 lesser cpu cores , and they both have a 3 GB RAM memory, the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet also counts with an extra graphics processor. The Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet features a much better looking screen than Galaxy Tab A 10.5, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1200 x 1920, the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch of screen.

Galaxy Tab A 10.5 counts with a much greater storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia Z2 Tablet, because it has more internal storage capacity and an external SD slot that supports up to 400 GB. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 captures greater photographs and videos than Xperia Z2 Tablet, although it has a less mega pixels resolution back-facing camera and a worse 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality.
