Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has a general score of 74.3, which is just a bit better than Xperia Z2 Tablet's 69.8 score. Both of these tablets include Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has the previous 4.4.2 version while Xperia Z2 Tablet has Android 4.4.4. Although Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is a better device than the Xperia Z2 Tablet, we must highlight that it is also a just a bit heavier and a bit thicker device.
Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet counts with a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because although it has 4 lesser processing cores (although faster), and they both have 3 GB of RAM, the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. Galaxy Tab S 10.5 counts with a little more vivid screen than Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet, because it has a higher 1600 x 2560 resolution, more pixels per screen inch and a little bigger screen.
The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has a way bigger storage for applications and games than Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet, because it has an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB and 16 GB more internal storage. The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 features longer battery duration than Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet, because it has a 32% larger battery size.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 captures much better pictures and videos than Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet, although it has a worse resolution back-facing camera and a worse 1920x1080 video definition.
