Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a little bit better than the Xperia Z2 Tablet, with a general score of 74.5 against 69.8. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 design is a little thicker but incredibly lighter than the Xperia Z2 Tablet, and both of them were released only 4 months apart. These devices include Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has an older 4.4.2 version and Xperia Z2 Tablet has Android 4.4.4.
The Xperia Z2 Tablet has a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because although it has less processing cores , and they both have the same RAM amount, the Xperia Z2 Tablet also counts with a graphics processor. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a much better display than Xperia Z2 Tablet, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher pixels number per inch in the screen and a better resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels.
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a superior memory for games and applications than Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet, because it has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 128 GB and 16 GB more internal storage. Xperia Z2 Tablet features greater battery duration than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity.
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 shoots better photographs and videos than Xperia Z2 Tablet, although it has a worse 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and a back-facing camera with less MP resolution.
Despite of being the best tablet in our comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is also a bargain compared to others.
