The Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact has a global score of 71.3, which is much better than the Huawei MediaPad M1's general score of 61.5. Both tablets in this review use Android operating system, but the Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact has a newer 4.4 version and Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2, giving you lots of additional features. Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact's body is somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than Huawei MediaPad M1, even when they were only released 6 months apart.
The Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact has a sharper screen than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have a same size screen, the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact also has a better pixels number per inch of screen and a much better 1920 x 1200 resolution.
