Xperia Z4 Tablet has a global score of 74.7, which is way better than Asus MeMO Pad 8's 61.2 overall score. The Xperia Z4 Tablet design is somewhat thinner but noticeably heavier than the Asus MeMO Pad 8. Both tablets we are comparing here come with Android OS (Operating System), but Xperia Z4 Tablet has a more recent 5.0 version and Asus MeMO Pad 8 has Android 4.4 version, giving some additional features.
The Xperia Z4 Tablet has a much better display than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because it has a higher resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels, a little better pixel density and a larger display. The Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet has a superior CPU than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because it has a 64 bits CPU, 4 more processing cores (although slower), 1 GB more RAM memory and an additional graphics co-processor.
Xperia Z4 Tablet takes just a bit better pictures and videos than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because it has a much better resolution back camera and a lot better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition. Xperia Z4 Tablet features a slightly bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Asus MeMO Pad 8, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Xperia Z4 Tablet also has an external memory card slot that allows up to 128 GB.
The Xperia Z4 Tablet features a very superior battery performance than Asus MeMO Pad 8.
Although Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet is a better device, it costs a lot more than Asus MeMO Pad 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Asus MeMO Pad 8. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Asus MeMO Pad 8, giving up some features and specifications.
