Comparison review
The Xperia Z4 Tablet has a global score of 74.7, which is better than the Microsoft Surface 3's 66.3 global score. Xperia Z4 Tablet's construction is thinner and noticeably lighter than Microsoft Surface 3. Xperia Z4 Tablet has a lot better looking screen than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 1600 x 2560 resolution and a better display pixels density.
Microsoft Surface 3 has much more memory capacity for games and applications than Xperia Z4 Tablet, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. Xperia Z4 Tablet counts with a better processing power than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has less RAM, it also counts with a greater number of cores (and they are faster), a 64-bits processing unit and an extra graphics co-processor.
Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet has a much better battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface 3. The Xperia Z4 Tablet shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface 3, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition and the same video frame rate, the Xperia Z4 Tablet also has a back-facing camera with a higher resolution.
Although Xperia Z4 Tablet is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Microsoft Surface 3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Microsoft Surface 3. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Xperia Z4 Tablet, else you can save some dollars and buy the Microsoft Surface 3, letting go a couple specs and features.
