The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has a general score of 82.4, which is better than Xperia Z4 Tablet's overall score of 74.7. The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) counts with Windows 10 Pro operating system, while Xperia Z4 Tablet works with Android 5.0 operating system. Even being the best in this review, Microsoft Surface Pro (2017)'s design is noticeably heavier and a lot thicker than Xperia Z4 Tablet.

Xperia Z4 Tablet has a sharper screen than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), because although it has a little worse resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit better number of pixels per display inch. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) features much more storage capacity to store more apps and games than Xperia Z4 Tablet, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 1000 GB internal storage capacity.

The Xperia Z4 Tablet features just a bit better performance than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a GPU, 6 more cores (although they are slower) and a 64-bits processor. Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet features a way better battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017).

The Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet features a little bit better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition and the same video frame rates, the Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet also has a more mega pixels back-facing camera.
