Xperia Z4 Tablet is much better than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, getting a 74.7 score against 65. The Xperia Z4 Tablet counts with Android 5.0 OS, while Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has Windows 8 OS. Xperia Z4 Tablet's design is extremely thinner and notably lighter than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3. The Xperia Z4 Tablet features a faster processing unit than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because it has a greater number of cores (and they are faster), 1 GB more RAM memory, a graphics co-processor and a 64-bits processing unit.
The Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet has a way better looking screen than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although they both have a same size display, the Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet also has a lot more pixels per screen inch and a way higher resolution of 1600 x 2560. Xperia Z4 Tablet counts with a bit more storage to install games and applications than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, although it has only 32 GB internal memory.
Xperia Z4 Tablet counts with a way better battery lifetime than Samsung ATIV Tab 3. Xperia Z4 Tablet takes much better photographs and videos than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Xperia Z4 Tablet also has a camera with way more mega-pixels.
Although Xperia Z4 Tablet is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung ATIV Tab 3. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get Samsung ATIV Tab 3, letting go a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
