Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet has a general score of 74.7, which is better than the Samsung Ativ Tab's 66.7 score. Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet has Android 5.0 operating system, while Samsung Ativ Tab has Windows RT operating system. The Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet is a lighter and noticeably thinner portable tablet than the Samsung Ativ Tab.
The Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet has a much more vibrant display than Samsung Ativ Tab, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet also has a way better display pixel density and a way better 1600 x 2560 resolution. Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a quite bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet, because although it has an external memory slot that supports up to 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage.
Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet has a superior processing unit than Samsung Ativ Tab, because it has a much better 600 MHz GPU, a greater number of cores , 1 GB more RAM memory and a 64-bit processor. Samsung Ativ Tab features a much better battery life than Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet, because it has a 37 percent bigger battery size.
The Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet captures slightly better photos and videos than Samsung Ativ Tab, because it has a back-facing camera with much more mega-pixels and a much higher (Full HD) video quality.
Although Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Ativ Tab, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Ativ Tab. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Ativ Tab, resigning a couple specifications.
