Comparison review
The Xperia Z4 Tablet is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, having a score of 74.7 against 68.7. Xperia Z4 Tablet is a somewhat heavier but thinner tablet than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch. Both tablets in this review use Android operating system, but Xperia Z4 Tablet has the newer 5.0 version while Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has Android 4.2.2, providing some additional features.
Xperia Z4 Tablet counts with an incredibly better screen than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a much better count of pixels per screen inch, a way better 1600 x 2560 resolution and a bigger screen. Xperia Z4 Tablet has a slightly bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Xperia Z4 Tablet also has a SD card slot that allows up to 128 GB.
The Xperia Z4 Tablet counts with a superior processing power than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has a worse graphics processor running at 600 MHz, it also counts with a 64-bits processing unit, a higher number of faster cores and a greater amount of RAM memory. The Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet has greater battery performance than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a 35% bigger battery size.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch takes a little bit better photographs and videos than Xperia Z4 Tablet, although it has a lot less megapixels back camera and a way worse video quality.
Although Xperia Z4 Tablet is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Xperia Z4 Tablet, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, resigning some specs and features.
