Comparison review
The Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet is slightly better than Xperia Z2 Tablet, getting a 74.7 score against 69.8. Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet's design is lighter and a bit thinner than the Xperia Z2 Tablet. Both devices in this comparison have Android operating system, but Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet has the newer 5.0 version and Xperia Z2 Tablet has Android 4.4.4, so it provides a couple nice extra features.
The Xperia Z4 Tablet has a bit superior CPU than Xperia Z2 Tablet, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Xperia Z4 Tablet also has a better graphics processor working at 600 MHz, a 64-bit processor and more CPU cores (but slower). The Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet has a bit sharper display than Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet also has a higher resolution of 1600 x 2560px and a higher screen density.
Xperia Z2 Tablet has a camera that's just as good as Xperia Z4 Tablet's camera, both of them have the same video frame rate, the same video resolution and a camera with an 8.1 mega pixels resolution. Xperia Z4 Tablet features a much greater storage to store more games and applications than Xperia Z2 Tablet, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 128 GB and more internal memory.
The Xperia Z2 Tablet's battery duration is very similar to the battery duration in Xperia Z4 Tablet.
Although Xperia Z4 Tablet is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xperia Z2 Tablet, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xperia Z2 Tablet. If you want to save some dollars, you can get the Xperia Z2 Tablet, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
