Comparison review
The Alcatel JOY TAB is just a bit better than the Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, getting a score of 59.4 against 55.9. Alcatel JOY TAB has Android 9.0 Pie OS, while Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch works with Windows 8.1 OS. Alcatel JOY TAB is a way newer portable tablet, and it's also a bit thinner and noticeably lighter than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch.
Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch has a sharper display than Alcatel JOY TAB, because although it has a just a little less pixels per screen inch, and they both have the same resolution of 1280 x 800, the Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch also counts with a larger display.
