The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 has a general score of 64.2, which is much better than the Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch's 55.9 overall score. The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 design has the same thickness than the Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, but it is a lot lighter. Both of these devices include the same Windows 8.1 operating system, so you shouldn't perceive any difference in that aspect.
Lenovo ThinkPad 8 has a bit better looking display than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher 1920 x 1200 resolution and a lot more pixels per inch of display.
