Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Go is better than the Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, having a general score of 66.5 against 55.9. These devices come with Windows operating system, but Microsoft Surface Go has the newer 10 version and Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch has Windows 8.1 version, so it provides you a couple additional features. Microsoft Surface Go's design is much newer, a little bit lighter and just a little bit thinner than the Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch.
The Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch features just a bit better display than Microsoft Surface Go, because although it has a lot lower 1280 x 800 resolution and a way lower pixel count per inch in the display, it also counts with a bit bigger display. Microsoft Surface Go has a much bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage capacity.
The Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch features just a bit better processing power than Microsoft Surface Go, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with 2 more cpu cores (although they are slower) and a 64 bits processor.
