Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro is better than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, with a 63.2 score against 55.9. Both of these tablets come with Windows OS (Operating System), but the Microsoft Surface Pro has the older 8 Pro version and Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch has Windows 8.1. The Microsoft Surface Pro is an older, extremely thicker and heavier tablet than the Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch.
Microsoft Surface Pro has a screen that is just as good as the Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch one, although the Microsoft Surface Pro also has a quite bigger display, more pixels per screen inch and a much higher resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The Microsoft Surface Pro counts with a very superior storage capacity for apps and games than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.

Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch takes a lot better videos and photos than Microsoft Surface Pro, because it has a camera with much more MP and a lot better (Full HD) video resolution. Microsoft Surface Pro and Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch both feature really similar batteries duration.
Microsoft Surface Pro costs a lot more than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
