Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has a score of 75.1, which is much better than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch's global score of 55.9. Both tablets in this comparison include Windows OS (Operating System), but the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has the previous 10 Pro version while Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch has Windows 8.1. Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is a newer and just a bit thinner tablet device than the Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, although it's incredibly heavier.
The Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch features a really superior hardware performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, because although it has 15 GB lesser RAM, it also counts with a 64-bits processing unit and a higher number of cores. Microsoft Surface Pro 4 features a slightly better looking screen than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, because it has a lot higher amount of pixels per inch in the display, a much better 1824 x 2736 resolution and a larger screen.
The Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, although it has a worse video definition and a back camera with lot less mega-pixels resolution. Microsoft Surface Pro 4 features a very superior memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 1000 GB internal storage.

Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is a lot more expensive than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, but you can get a much better tablet for that few more dollars.
