Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is better than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, getting a global score of 66.9 against 55.9. These tablets use Windows OS (Operating System), but Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has newer 10 version while Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch has Windows 8.1, so it provides some nice extra features. Although the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is much heavier than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, it's a bit thinner and also newer.
Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has a little better processing power than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, because although it has less processing cores and a 32-bit processing unit instead of 64-bits, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory. Microsoft Surface Pro 7 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, because it has a much higher resolution of 2736 x 1824px, a much greater pixels density and a bigger display.
The Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch has a slightly better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 7, although it has a back facing camera with way less mega pixels resolution and a lower (Full HD) video definition. Microsoft Surface Pro 7 features a much greater storage capacity to store more apps and games than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal memory.

So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Microsoft Surface Pro 7, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, letting go some specs and features.
