Comparison review
Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has an overall score of 65, which is much better than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch's 55.9 general score. Both of these tablets work with Windows OS (operating system), but Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has the previous 8 version and Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch has Windows 8.1. The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 is an older and a little heavier portable tablet than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, but Samsung managed to make it just a little bit thinner anyway.
The Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch counts with a bit better processor than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with more CPU cores (although they are slower) and a 64-bit CPU. Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch features a little sharper display than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, although it has a bit lower resolution of 1280 x 800 and a just a little less pixels per inch in the screen, they both have a same size display.
The Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch counts with a little bit more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, although it has less internal memory capacity. The Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch and the Samsung ATIV Tab 3 have very similar batteries performance.
The Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch captures a lot better videos and photos than Samsung ATIV Tab 3. Both of them have a same resolution back-facing camera, the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video definition.
In addition to being the best tablet of the ones we compare here, the Samsung ATIV Tab 3 is also a bargain compared to the other tablets.
