Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Book 12-inch is much better than the Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, with a overall score of 80 against 55.9. Both tablets in this review use Windows OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Book 12-inch has newer 10 version and Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch has Windows 8.1 version. Samsung Galaxy Book 12-inch's design is noticeably newer and somewhat thinner than the Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch's, although it's noticeably heavier.
The Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch features just a bit better looking display than Galaxy Book 12-inch, although it has a little bit smaller screen, a way worse 1280 x 800 resolution and a way lower screen density. Samsung Galaxy Book 12-inch features much more memory capacity to install applications and games than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, because it has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 256 GB and 256 GB internal memory.
Galaxy Book 12-inch counts with a little bit better performance than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, because although it has a 32-bits processor instead of 64-bits and 2 lesser CPU cores (but faster), it also counts with a larger amount of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Book 12-inch has a much better camera than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Samsung Galaxy Book 12-inch also has a back-facing camera with a lot higher 13 mega-pixels resolution.
