Comparison review
The Sony Vaio Tap 11 is much better than the Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, getting a 66 score against 55.9. Although it's the best we are comparing, the Sony Vaio Tap 11 body is extremely heavier and somewhat thicker than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch. Both of these tablets use Windows OS, but the Sony Vaio Tap 11 has the older 8 version and Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch has Windows 8.1 version.
The Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch has a little better processing power than Sony Vaio Tap 11, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with more CPU cores and a 64-bit CPU. Sony Vaio Tap 11 features a little more vivid screen than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, because it has a much higher resolution of 1080 x 1920, a little bit bigger display and a greater pixel density.
The Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch counts with a better camera than Sony Vaio Tap 11, although it has a way less MP resolution back-facing camera. The Sony Vaio Tap 11 features a much better storage for games and applications than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.

Although Sony Vaio Tap 11 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch. If you want to save some dollars, you can get Toshiba Encore 2 10.1-inch, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your money.
