Microsoft Surface 2 has an overall score of 63.4, which is way better than ViewSonic ViewPad 10's general score of 42.9. Microsoft Surface 2's construction is notably thinner and lighter than the ViewSonic ViewPad 10. The Microsoft Surface 2 has Windows RT 8.1 operating system, while ViewSonic ViewPad 10 works with Android 2.2 operating system.
The Microsoft Surface 2 counts with a much better screen than ViewSonic ViewPad 10, because it has a way better 1080 x 1920 resolution, a little bigger display and much more pixels per inch of display. Microsoft Surface 2 features a bit faster processing unit than ViewSonic ViewPad 10, and although they both have a 2 GB RAM memory, the Microsoft Surface 2 also has a higher number of cores (and faster).
The Microsoft Surface 2 features a much better camera than ViewSonic ViewPad 10. The Microsoft Surface 2 counts with a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than ViewSonic ViewPad 10, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 48 GB more internal memory capacity.

The Microsoft Surface 2 is a little more expensive than ViewSonic ViewPad 10, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra dollars.
