Comparison review
Microsoft Surface 2 has an overall score of 63.4, which is much better than the ViewSonic ViewPad 10pi's score of 48.2. Microsoft Surface 2 comes with Windows RT 8.1 OS, and ViewSonic ViewPad 10pi has Android 2.3 OS. Microsoft Surface 2 is a newer tablet device, and it is also somewhat lighter and a lot thinner than the ViewSonic ViewPad 10pi.
The Microsoft Surface 2 has a bit superior processing unit than ViewSonic ViewPad 10pi, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Microsoft Surface 2 also has a higher number of cores (and faster). Microsoft Surface 2 has a much more vibrant display than ViewSonic ViewPad 10pi, because it has a quite larger screen and a way higher pixels density.
The ViewSonic ViewPad 10pi has a greater memory for apps and games than Microsoft Surface 2. They have equal internal storage. The ViewSonic ViewPad 10pi counts with a much longer battery duration than Microsoft Surface 2. Microsoft Surface 2 shoots a bit better videos and photos than ViewSonic ViewPad 10pi, because it has a back facing camera with a much better 5 mega-pixels resolution.
The Microsoft Surface 2 costs a little more money than ViewSonic ViewPad 10pi, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
