The Amazon Fire is much better than the ViewSonic ViewPad 7, having a global score of 51.1 against 40.5. Both of these tablets include Android OS, but the Amazon Fire has a newer 5.0 version while ViewSonic ViewPad 7 has Android 2.2 version, so it provides the user some nice extra features. The Amazon Fire construction is a little thinner and lighter than the ViewSonic ViewPad 7.

Amazon Fire counts with a little bit better screen than ViewSonic ViewPad 7, and although they both have a same size screen, the Amazon Fire also has a better 1024 x 600 pixels resolution and a better number of pixels per inch in the display. The Amazon Fire features a faster processor than ViewSonic ViewPad 7, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, and they both have the same number of cores, the Amazon Fire also counts with a larger amount of RAM.

The ViewSonic ViewPad 7 has just a bit better camera than Amazon Fire, because it has a much better 3 MP resolution camera in the back. The Amazon Fire has much more storage capacity to store more games and applications than ViewSonic ViewPad 7, because it has an external SD slot that supports up to 128 GB.
