Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 has a score of 65.7, which is much better than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020)'s 58.6 general score. Xiaomi Mi Pad 2's construction is notably thinner and a bit lighter than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), despite of the fact that it was released many years before. Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 has Android OS, while Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) counts with Android 9.0 Pie OS.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 counts with a better looking display than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a much better pixels quantity per inch in the screen and a way higher resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels. Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) features a much better storage for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, because although it has just 32 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD extension slot that admits up to 1000 GB.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 features just a bit better performance than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). Both have the same number of cores and a 2 GB RAM memory. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 counts with a very superior battery life than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 takes a lot better pictures and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a back-facing camera with lot more megapixels and a lot better 1920x1080 video quality.
Although Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). If you want to save some dollars, you can buy the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
