Comparison review
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, having a 67.9 score against 65.7. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.4 operating system, and Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 has Android operating system. Even being the best in this comparison review, the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 construction is older, just a bit thicker and heavier than the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a much better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, because it has a bit larger screen, a slightly better resolution of 1600 x 2560px and a just a bit greater number of pixels in each display inch. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a bit more powerful CPU than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2. Both of them have 2 GB of RAM memory and a Quad-Core CPU.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's memory for apps and games is just as good as the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 one, both of them have the same internal storage. Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 counts with a much better battery duration than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 has just a bit better camera than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the same resolution camera and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 also has a bigger aperture to take better low light captures.
Although Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, letting go a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
