Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 has a score of 65.7, which is a bit better than Samsung ATIV Tab 3's score of 65. Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 is a a lot newer tablet, and it is also a lot lighter and thinner than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3. Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 has Android OS, while Samsung ATIV Tab 3 counts with Windows 8 OS.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 counts with a bit better processing unit than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although they both have a 2 GB RAM, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 also has a larger number of faster cores. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 features a bit more vivid screen than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a way higher 1536 x 2048 resolution and a lot greater screen density.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has as much memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos as the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, they have the same 64 GB internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 has a superior battery performance than Samsung ATIV Tab 3. Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 captures much clearer photographs and videos than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same video resolution, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 also has a way more MP back facing camera.
Although Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung ATIV Tab 3. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get Samsung ATIV Tab 3, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
