Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 has a general score of 65.7, which is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0's 65.6 global score. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 counts with Android OS, while Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 works with Android 4.4.2 OS. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 is a newer and a lot thinner portable tablet than the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, but it is also heavier.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 counts with a bit better performance than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have 4 CPU cores, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 also has 512 MB more RAM. Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a display that's very similar to the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 one, although the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has a way worse resolution of 1280 x 800px, a bit smaller display and a much lower screen density.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 shoots clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a way bigger aperture to capture better low light photography and videos, a back-facing camera with much more mega-pixels and a lot higher (Full HD) video definition. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 counts with a much better storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 counts with a much longer battery life than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a 6190mAh battery capacity.
Although Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 is a better device, it costs more money than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy Tab 4 7.0. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, resigning a couple specifications.
