Xiaomi MiPad has an overall score of 64.4, which is a bit better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020)'s 58.6 score. Xiaomi MiPad's construction is thinner than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), although it is a little heavier and was released 6 years before. Xiaomi MiPad counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). Both of them have a Quad-Core CPU and a 2 GB RAM.
The Xiaomi MiPad features a much sharper display than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher pixel amount per inch in the display and a lot better resolution of 2048 x 1536px. Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) features much more storage capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi MiPad, because it has an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 1000 GB and 16 GB more internal storage capacity.
Xiaomi MiPad has a lot better camera than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a lot higher 1920x1080 video quality and a camera in the back with much more MP. The Xiaomi MiPad counts with a really longer battery duration than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).
Although Xiaomi MiPad is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your budget.
