Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is much better than the Xiaomi MiPad, having an 82.4 score against 64.4. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has Windows 10 Pro operating system, and Xiaomi MiPad comes with Android operating system. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017)'s body has the same thickness than the Xiaomi MiPad, but it is noticeably heavier.
Xiaomi MiPad features a sharper screen than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), because although it has a way worse resolution of 2048 x 1536px and a way smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit greater display density. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has a bit superior CPU than Xiaomi MiPad, because although it has 2 lesser CPU cores (although faster), it also counts with a higher amount of RAM.
The Xiaomi MiPad captures better videos and photos than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017). Both have the same video frame rates, a 8 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera and the same (Full HD) video resolution. The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) features a way bigger memory to store more games and applications than Xiaomi MiPad, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi MiPad, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi MiPad. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), else you can save some dollars and buy the Xiaomi MiPad, giving up a couple features and specs.
