Comparison review
The Xiaomi MiPad has a score of 64.4, which is much better than the Microsoft Surface RT's score of 58.4. The Xiaomi MiPad is a newer tablet, and it's also a lot lighter and thinner than the Microsoft Surface RT. The Xiaomi MiPad has Android OS, while Microsoft Surface RT comes with Windows RT OS.
The Xiaomi MiPad counts with a bit faster processor than Microsoft Surface RT, although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, they both have a 2 GB RAM and the same number of cores. Xiaomi MiPad counts with a much more vibrant screen than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a much smaller display, it also counts with a way greater count of pixels per inch of screen and a much better 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution.
The Xiaomi MiPad counts with a very superior camera than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi MiPad also has a camera in the back with lot more mega-pixels. The Microsoft Surface RT has a bigger storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi MiPad, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity.
The Xiaomi MiPad has a much longer battery duration than Microsoft Surface RT.
Although Xiaomi MiPad is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Microsoft Surface RT, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Microsoft Surface RT. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the Microsoft Surface RT, letting go a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
