Comparison review
The Xiaomi MiPad has an overall score of 64.4, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0's general score of 62.8. Even being the best we are comparing, the Xiaomi MiPad body is older, somewhat heavier and thicker than Galaxy Tab A 8.0. Xiaomi MiPad features a bit faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Xiaomi MiPad also has a greater amount of RAM.
The Xiaomi MiPad features a much more vibrant display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much better quantity of pixels per inch of display and a much better resolution of 2048 x 1536. The Xiaomi MiPad has a very superior camera than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a lot higher 1920x1080 video resolution and a camera in the back with a way higher 8 MP resolution.
Xiaomi MiPad and Galaxy Tab A 8.0 count with very similar memory for apps and games, both have an external memory card slot that supports up to 128 GB and exactly the same internal storage capacity. Xiaomi MiPad features a superior battery life than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has 6700mAh of battery capacity.
Although Xiaomi MiPad is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Tab A 8.0. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and give up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your budget.
