Comparison review
Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) is just a bit better than Xiaomi pad 5, with a 58.6 score against 57.7. These devices work with Android operating system, but the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi pad 5 has Android 12. Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) is an older and notably thicker tablet than the Xiaomi pad 5, but Amazon made it a lot lighter anyway.
Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) and Xiaomi pad 5 have very similar screens, although the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has a lot lower pixels quantity per inch in the screen, a much smaller display and a lot worse 800 x 1280 pixels resolution. Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) counts with a much powerful processor than Xiaomi pad 5, although it has 4 lesser processing cores (but faster) and a smaller amount of RAM memory.
The Xiaomi pad 5 captures way better videos and photos than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a much higher video resolution and a lot better resolution back-facing camera. Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) features a bit more storage capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi pad 5, because although it has just 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that supports up to 1000 GB.
Xiaomi pad 5 counts with a way better battery duration than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).
