Comparison review
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a general score of 68.5, which is much better than the Xiaomi pad 5's 57.7 global score. Although the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is much older and somewhat thicker than Xiaomi pad 5, it's body is still a lot lighter. Both of these tablets work with Android operating system, but Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a newer 4.2.2 version while Xiaomi pad 5 has Android 12 version.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 features a much more vibrant screen than Xiaomi pad 5, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have the same resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch in the screen. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a lot better performance than Xiaomi pad 5, because although it has lesser RAM memory and an inferior number of cores (although they are faster), it also counts with a GPU.
Xiaomi pad 5 has a superior storage capacity for apps and games than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, because it has 64 GB more internal memory. Xiaomi pad 5 takes much clearer photographs and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, because it has a back camera with much more MP and a larger diafragm aperture to capture better images and videos in low-light situations.
Xiaomi pad 5 has a much better battery performance than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9.
