Both tablets in this review have Android operating system, but the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has 4.3 version and Xiaomi pad 5 has Android 12. The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 is a thicker but a lot lighter tablet than Xiaomi pad 5.
The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 counts with a much faster processing unit than Xiaomi pad 5, because although it has a lower number of cores and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has a sharper screen than Xiaomi pad 5, although it has a way lower quantity of pixels in each inch of display, a lot smaller screen and a way worse resolution of 1280 x 800.
Xiaomi pad 5 counts with a much better camera than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because it has a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a camera with a lot higher resolution.
