Comparison review
The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) is a lot better than the Xiaomi pad 5, getting a overall score of 77.4 against 57.7. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has 4.4.2 version and Xiaomi pad 5 has Android 12, providing the user some additional features and performance optimizations. Although the GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) is a better portable tablet than the Xiaomi pad 5, we must note that it's also extremely older, somewhat thicker and just a little bit heavier.
The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a much more powerful CPU than Xiaomi pad 5, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although faster) and 3 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a much sharper screen than Xiaomi pad 5, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1600 x 2560 pixels resolution, the GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch of display.
The Xiaomi pad 5 features a way better camera than GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition), because it has a way higher video resolution and a way more mega-pixels camera in the back. The Xiaomi pad 5 has just a bit bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition), because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage.
The Xiaomi pad 5 has just a little better battery performance than GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition), because it has a 6% larger battery size.
