Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has an overall score of 74.5, which is much better than the Xiaomi pad 5's overall score of 57.7. Despite being the best tablet in this review, the Galaxy Tab A 10.5 body is notably older, thicker and a little heavier than Xiaomi pad 5. Both of these tablets work with Android OS, but Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi pad 5 has Android 12, so it provides a couple additional features.
Galaxy Tab A 10.5 features a lot better processing power than Xiaomi pad 5, although it has less RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 features a little bit better looking screen than Xiaomi pad 5, although it has a little bit worse pixel number per inch of screen, a way worse 1200 x 1920 resolution and a quite smaller display.
The Xiaomi pad 5 has a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for taking photographs and video in low light situations, it also counts with a lot higher 3840x2160 video quality and a camera in the back with a much higher 13 mega pixels resolution.
The Xiaomi pad 5 features a slightly better memory capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory capacity. Xiaomi pad 5 has greater battery performance than Galaxy Tab A 10.5, because it has 8720mAh of battery capacity.
