The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) is better than Xiaomi pad 5, having a 65.7 score against 57.7. These devices have Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi pad 5 has Android 12. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017)'s design is incredibly lighter than the Xiaomi pad 5, but it's thicker and was released many years before.

The Xiaomi pad 5 features just a bit better screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a greater number of pixels per inch in the screen, a much higher 1600 x 2560 pixels resolution and a much larger screen. Xiaomi pad 5 has a lot bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
