The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is better than the Xiaomi pad 5, with a score of 64.9 against 57.7. Both devices in this comparison review come with Android OS, but Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a newer 5.1 Lollipop version and Xiaomi pad 5 has Android 12 version, so it gives you some additional features and enhanced performance. The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is a noticeably older and incredibly thicker portable tablet than the Xiaomi pad 5, but Samsung could make it incredibly lighter anyway.
Galaxy Tab E 8.0 counts with a much more powerful CPU than Xiaomi pad 5, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory and lesser cpu cores (although faster). Xiaomi pad 5 features a slightly better screen than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because it has a better display density, a way higher 1600 x 2560 pixels resolution and a really larger display.
The Xiaomi pad 5 features a lot bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 112 GB more internal storage. The Xiaomi pad 5 counts with a very superior camera than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because it has a larger aperture for better photos and video in low-light situations, a lot more MP camera and a way higher 3840x2160 video definition.
The Xiaomi pad 5 has a much longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because it has a 74 percent greater battery capacity.
