Both tablets in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Pad 6 has an older 13 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has Android 9.0 Pie version. Even though Xiaomi Pad 6 is heavier than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), it's way thinner and newer.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has a much powerful CPU than Xiaomi Pad 6, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory and 4 lesser cores. Xiaomi Pad 6 counts with a lot better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017), because it has a lot larger display, a much better 1800 x 2880 resolution and much more pixels per display inch.
