Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 is a not so powerful Android portable tablet released in September 2012, with a very powerful 1500 megahertz Dual-Core processor, a 1.3 megapixels front side camera and a really big 8.9" multi-touch capacitive screen.
Amazon sells the Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 with a high performance Dual-Core processor speeding at 1500 megahertz, included in the TI OMAP4470 system chip with only 1 GB RAM which is a little bit disappointing for such a good tablet. Handling graphic intensive games and applications, the Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9 also counts with a 384 MHz PowerVR SGX544 graphic processing unit. A key aspect of this tablet is its huge 32 GB internal storage memory and whereas it doesn't include a slot for an SD memory card, it it is more than enough to install hundreds of apps and even the largest games currently available without thinking about how much storage capacity is left.
