The Asus ZenPad Z8 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 8956 system chip, including a high performance 1800 megahertz Hexa-Core CPU with a big 2 GB RAM. A nice feature of the Asus ZenPad Z8 is its 16 GB quite big internal memory and an SD card slot, which allows you to install a couple hundred games and apps without any trouble.
Asus did a very good design job making the Asus ZenPad Z8 weight just 10.93 ounces. This tablet is only available in color 16 777 216. This tablet is just 0.3" thick, making it one of the thinnest tablets out there. This tablet is a compact tablet device, taking into consideration it presents a 7.9" display and it only has 8.08" long and 5.37 inches wide.
The Asus ZenPad Z8 features two cameras, an 8 megapixels back-facing camera and a 2 megapixels front camera. The Asus ZenPad Z8 can also shoot videos in 1920x1080 (Full HD). This tablet also has time lapse video.
This device includes a gorgeous 1536 x 2048 7.9-inches display, which makes all images and videos look completely perfect.
This tablet has wifi capability (but it can't be provided to other devices acting as a mobile hotspot), LTE-A 4G super fast connectivity and the fastest 3G data connection, over HSPA technologies. This tablet uses a Micro SIM card for GSM networks.
This tablet also includes a handful of interesting features as Bluetooth (provides communication with other bluetooth tablets and accessories) and GPS Navigation, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.
The Asus ZenPad Z8 comes with a 4680 mAh high capacity Li - Polymer non-replaceable battery, enough to provide the Asus ZenPad Z8 with a marvelous battery duration. An issue to take into account is that the Asus ZenPad Z8's battery is non-removable so you can't buy a new battery when it starts to last shorter, even though with its 4680 mAh you will probably replace this tablet device before it becomes an issue.
This device is definitely the right choice for you no matter if you want this tablet to take lots of photographs, need a portable tablet mainly for internet broswing and social networks, want a device for gaming or will use it as a work portable tablet.
