HTC Flyer CDMA is a bit outdated Android tablet released in September 2011, packed with a good performance CPU running at 1.5 gigahertz, a pretty large 7 inches multi-touch capacitive screen, and 2 cameras, a 5 MP back-facing camera and a 1.3 megapixels front facing camera. That's all? Not at all, it's only the introduction.
HTC sells this tablet with a fast 1500 megahertz CPU, packed into the Qualcomm Snapdragon system chip with 1 GB RAM. A key advantage of this tablet is its 32 GB huge internal memory and an SD memory card expansion slot, enough to install tons of apps, games, songs, photos and videos without having to worry about how much storage is left.
This device is just 7.69" long and 4.8" wide, but it's still able to fit a a 7 inches screen. This tablet is a little thick for today's standards, with its 0.52" thickness. In this case, HTC forgot about optimizing the weight, leaving it live with a weight of 14.82 oz.
This tablet features two cameras, a 5 megapixels back facing camera and a 1.3 MP front-facing camera. The HTC Flyer CDMA can also film videos in 1280x720 (HD) at 30 frames per second.
HTC equipped this device with an average 7-inches display, and a 600 x 1024 resolution, which makes all images and movies look nice. Its display uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.
The HTC Flyer CDMA has a 4000 mAh great Li-Ion non-replaceable battery, enough to provide this device with an incredible battery life. An issue to consider is that the HTC Flyer CDMA's battery isn't replaceable so you won't be able to replace it when it begins to lose its charge, though with so much capacity you will probably buy a new portable tablet before it becomes an issue.
The HTC Flyer CDMA provides Wi-Fi connection (although it can't share it with other devices around, as a mobile mobile hotspot) and 3G connectivity, using EV-DO A technologies. The HTC Flyer CDMA doesn't use a sim card, because it isn't a GSM device and it works in CDMA carriers.
The HTC Flyer CDMA also comes with a few useful characteristics such as Bluetooth (3.0) and GPS Navigation, and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
No matter if you are looking for a social portable tablet, want a work portable tablet or want it for playing games, this tablet is a good choice .
