LG G Pad X 8.3 Review

LG G Pad X 8.3 is a great portable tablet released in 2015, packing a high speed Octa-Core processing unit ticking at 1500 MHz, a quite big 8.3" screen, and two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 2 mega-pixels front-facing camera. Let's take a better look at what this tablet device can do.

This device is available just in color 16 777 216. Though the LG G Pad X 8.3 just has 8.53 inches long, it manages to hold a 8.3" display. This tablet has a wonderful design, with a thickness of just 0.34 inches. LG appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 13.02 oz tablet.

LG packed the LG G Pad X 8.3 with a nice 8.3-inches screen, and a 1080 x 1920 (Full HD) resolution, which makes all images and movies look beautiful.

LG decided to equip this device using a great 1.5 GHz Octa-Core CPU, bundled in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 8939 chip with a big 2 GB RAM memory. A good feature of the LG G Pad X 8.3 is its quite large 16 GB internal storage memory and a slot for an external memory card, which allows the user to install a couple hundred apps and games without worrying about space.

This tablet provides WiFi capability (although it can't provide it to other devices around, acting as a hotspot) and 4G LTE high speed internet connection. The LG G Pad X 8.3 doesn't use a SIM card, because it isn't a GSM enabled tablet.

This device has two cameras, an 8 megapixels back-facing camera and a 2 megapixels front camera. It is also able to shoot videos up to 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 30 fps.

This tablet also includes a couple interesting characteristics such as Infrared Transmitter, Bluetooth (4.1 ) and GPS, and a few sensors likeLight Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

The LG G Pad X 8.3 comes with a huge 4800 mAh non-removable battery that can keep it running for many hours without having to charge it at all. An issue to evaluate is that the LG G Pad X 8.3's battery isn't replaceable so you can't buy a new battery when it starts to lose capacity, even though with so much capacity you will probably discard this tablet device before that becomes a real problem.
