Plum Debut Review

Plum Debut is a modest Android tablet, equipped with a good performance 1000 megahertz processor, a good size 7" multi touch screen, a 5 MP back side camera and a 0.3 megapixels front side camera. That's everything we have to say? Not at all, it's only the shortest summary in history.

It seems like Plum forgot about weight optimization in this 13.69 oz tablet. Whereas the Plum Debut is just 7.76" long and 4.72" wide, it's able to fit a a 7 inches screen. The Plum Debut is a bit thick for current standards, with its 0.52 inches thickness.

This device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7227T system chip, packing a powerful CPU speeding at 1 gigahertz and 512 MB RAM.

This tablet has two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back camera and a 0.3 mega-pixels front side camera.

This display uses TFT capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.

This tablet features an incredible 4250 mAh Li-Ion non-replaceable battery providing this tablet a marvelous battery duration. An issue to evaluate is that the Plum Debut's battery is non-removable so you can't buy a new battery when it begins to lose capacity, even though with so much capacity you will probably buy a new tablet device before that happens.

The Plum Debut offers wifi connection (and it can be shared with other devices acting as a mobile hotspot) and 3G fast connection type, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This tablet works with a SIM card for GSM services.

The Plum Debut also comes with a couple of useful characteristics like Bluetooth (2.0, EDR) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and a couple sensors likeProximity Sensor and Accelerometer.
