Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v Review

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v is a little bit outdated Android tablet released back in the year 2011, which features a fast 1 GHz Dual-Core processor, a really big 10.1-inches multi-touch screen, and two cameras, an 8 MP back facing camera and a 2 MP front facing camera.

This device is quite slim, but it's not as slim as many other portable tablets on sale, with a thickness of 0.43". Though this tablet is only 9.69 inches long, it manages to pack a 10.1 inches screen. The Tab 10.1v is a bit heavy for a tablet this size, weighting 21.13 oz.

This tablet comes with a good performance 1 gigahertz Dual-Core processing unit. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v has an interesting 16 GB internal storage memory and whereas it doesn't count with an SD memory slot, it should be enough to store a couple hundred apps and games, although it may not be enough if you are planning to install some of the heaviest games currently available.

This device is equipped with a good 10.1 inches screen with a 800 x 1280 resolution, making everything look nice. This screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

This tablet features WiFi capability (but it can't provide it to other devices acting as a router), HSPA+ (4G) connectivity, that is not so fast as LTE-A or LTE 4G networks and the fastest 3G connectivity, supported by HSDPA, HSPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This tablet works with a SIM card to use GSM services.

This tablet is equipped with two cameras, an 8 megapixels back side camera and a 2 MP front side camera. The Tab 10.1v can also film videos up to 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 24 frames per second. The camera also includes flash and auto-focus.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v has an incredible 6860 mAh Li-Ion non-replaceable battery that provides the Tab 10.1v an incredibly long battery duration. An issue to consider is that this tablet's battery is non-removable so you can't throw it away and buy a new one when it begins to last shorter, whereas with so much capacity you will probably replace this device before that becomes an issue.

The Tab 10.1v also includes a couple of interesting features like Bluetooth (2.1, EDR) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v is probably a great option for you it doesn't matter whether you will use it majorly for social networks and internet browsing, want a gamer tablet device or need a work device.
