T-Mobile G-Slate is a fair quality Android device launched in 2011, packed with a big size 8.9 inches display, a 1000 MHz Dual-Core processor, a 5 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 2 megapixels front camera.
The T-Mobile G-Slate is only available in color black. While this tablet is only 9.56" long and 5.88 inches wide, it is able to fit a a 8.9 inches screen. It appears that T-Mobile didn't care about the weight at all, releasing a 21.87 oz heavyweight product.
T-Mobile decided to design this tablet using a NVIDIA Tegra 2 system chip, backed up by a fast Dual-Core CPU clocking at 1000 MHz. An excellent feature of the T-Mobile G-Slate is the 32 GB big internal memory and though it doesn't count with a slot for an external memory card, it it is more than enough to install lots of applications, games, songs, pictures and videos without having to worry about running out of space.
This tablet is equipped with two cameras, a 5 MP back side camera and a 2 mega-pixels front camera. It is also able to capture videos up to 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 30 fps. To complete the camera, it also counts with flash and auto-focus.
This tablet includes a good level 768 x 1280 8.9-inches screen, making everything look quite nice.
The T-Mobile G-Slate packs a huge 6400 mAh Li-Ion non-replaceable battery, enough to provide this device with an incredible battery duration. An issue to take into account is that the T-Mobile G-Slate's battery isn't replaceable so you can't change it when it starts to lose capacity, even though having 6400 mAh you will probably buy a new tablet device before it happens.
This tablet counts with Wi-Fi connection (although it can't provide it to other devices around, acting as a wireless modem or router) and 3G fast connectivity, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This tablet works with a SIM card for GSM carriers.
This tablet also comes with a few nice features such as Bluetooth (provides communication with other bluetooth devices and accessories) and GPS, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.
