This tablet is slim and practical, while it's not close to being one of the thinnest devices nowadays, with a thickness of 0.4". This tablet doesn't feel very lightweight comparing to other tablet devices , with a weight of 12.7 oz. Verizon made the Verizon Ellipsis 7available only in 16 777 216 color.
The Verizon Ellipsis 7 is equipped with a good looking 7 inches screen with a 1280 x 800 resolution, which makes everything look colorful and brightful.
Verizon decided to power this tablet using a powerful Quad-Core processing unit ticking at 1200 megahertz and 1 GB RAM. A good advantage of the Verizon Ellipsis 7 is the 8 GB quite big internal storage memory and an external memory card slot, which allows the user to install hundreds of games and applications without running out of space.
The Verizon Ellipsis 7 includes wi-fi connectivity (and it can provide it to other devices around, acting as a router or modem) and LTE 4G high performance connection type. The Verizon Ellipsis 7 doesn't use a sim card, because it doesn't support GSM services.
This tablet features two cameras, a 3.2 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 0.3 MP front-facing camera. It also films 1920x1080 Full HD videos at 12 fps, and HD 1280x720 slow-motion videos up to 22 fps (0.7 times slower than reality).
This tablet packs an awesome 4000 mAh non-replaceable battery, enough to provide the Verizon Ellipsis 7 with an extremely long battery duration. An issue to take into consideration is that this tablet's battery is non-replaceable so you can't change it when it starts losing capacity, although with its 4000 mAh you will probably buy a new portable tablet before it becomes an issue.
