ZTE V96 Review

ZTE V96 is a mid-end tablet launched back in 2012, packing a high performance Dual-Core processing unit ticking at 1.7 gigahertz, a large 10.1" capacitive display, and 2 cameras, a 5 MP back camera and a 2 mega-pixels front facing camera.

While this tablet just has 0 inches long, it still manages to hold a 10.1" display.

ZTE designed this tablet with a interesting 10.1 inches display, and a resolution of 800 x 1280 , making everything look nice. Its display uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

This tablet comes with a high speed Dual-Core processor ticking at 1.7 gigahertz, included in a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8960 chip with only 1 GB of RAM which is a bit disappointing comparing with the ZTE V96's great processor. Graphic intensive applications and games usually eats lots of processing power, so this tablet also uses an Adreno 225 graphics processing unit speeding at 400 MHz to take care of them, leaving the CPU free for other tasks. This device comes with anice 16 GB internal storage and even though it doesn't include an SD extension slot, it should be enough to install a couple hundred apps, but it probably wouldn't be suitable if you are fan of the largest games currently available.

The ZTE V96 features two cameras, a 5 MP back facing camera and a 2 megapixels front camera. The camera also has geo tagging and auto-focus.

The ZTE V96 provides Wi-Fi connectivity (although it can't be shared with other devices around, acting as a wireless router or modem), 4G LTE high performance connectivity and also HSPA+ data connection, which is a slower 4G type and 3G fast internet connection, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This tablet uses a SIM card for GSM connection.

The ZTE V96 also comes with a handful of cool characteristics such as Bluetooth and GPS Geolocation, and some sensors likeLight Sensor and Accelerometer.
