Motorola ES400 has an overall score of 45.5, which is a little bit better than the Acer X960's 41.4 general score. Both of these phones work with Windows Mobile Professional operating system, but Motorola ES400 has a more recent 6.5.3 version while Acer X960 has Windows Mobile Professional 6.1 version, providing you some extra features and performance enhancements. Motorola ES400's body is newer, but somewhat heavier and thicker than the Acer X960.

The Motorola ES400 counts with a bit better performance than Acer X960, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Motorola ES400 also has a graphics co-processor and 128 MB more RAM. The Acer X960 counts with a bit sharper display than Motorola ES400, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same 640 x 480 resolution, the Acer X960 also counts with a bit greater display density.

The Motorola ES400 shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Acer X960. They have the same resolution back-facing camera. The Motorola ES400 has a much better storage capacity for apps and games than Acer X960.
